Titusville at Fox Lake Park & Sanctuary April 30th

This is the second of the convention walking events hosted by the American Volkssport Association.  This 2500-acre Environmental Endangered Lands (EEL) sanctuary, located adjacent to the Brevard County’s Fox Lake Park, is part of a larger conservation landscape totaling more than 20,000 acres managed by various State agencies. The sanctuary contains a variety of habitats such as scrub, pine flatwoods, oak hammocks, depression and freshwater marshes, that support many wildlife species such as white-tailed deer, bobcat, Florida scrub jays, wood storks, and sandhill cranes.  The event has a 5K and 11K option.  It will be on shaded hiking trails.
