Thonotosassa at Hillsborough River State Park April 28th

This is the second of the pre-convention walking events hosted by the American Volkssport Association.  Hillsborough River State Park is one of Florida’s first state parks. This park encompasses many diverse environmental habitats, as well as several distinct wildlife communities. Walkers will wander on three nature trails, of varying difficulty, displaying wonders both natural (river rapids and abundant wildlife) and man made (a suspension bridge built by the WPA in 1938).

There is a $4 entrance fee for a car with one occupant.  Cars with up to eight occupants are charged $6, so come and bring along some friends to share the cost.
