Metal for completing the Event.
Unlike marathons, the metal shown above isn’t free at Volksmarching Events. The metal is $8.00, but our event registration is only $3.00. So you can do the event and purchase a metal for $11.00. Not bad!
This event is a pleasant town walk in the City of Bend going through local neighborhoods, downtown Bend, through 4 City Parks (if you are doing the 11K route and 3 City Parks if doing the 6K route). You will walk along the Deschutes River and by Mirror Pond. Walk route is mostly paved with some areas with sandy gravel trails.
